This is a lovely pillow cover. It measures approx. 18" x 18" and took a 20" x 20" pillow to fill it adequately. While it looks great, I would recommend getting two 20" x 20" filler pillows if you plan to actually use it, as one pillow filler flattens out very quickly and doesn't give the user a plump pillow that gives support and stays plump.Some reviewers found the zipper opening too small, but if you accordion fold the pillow(s) tight, and then slip/push them into the pillow cover, they fit nicely and then open up into the cover. After the pillow(s) filler is in, just put your hand inside and pull and push the corners of the pillow(s) filler into the pillow cover.The fabric is a quite heavy woven linen look in an off-white with a hint of gray color. (Not a cream color). The coral bush is done in vibrant and beautiful blues, teal and aqua colors, and looks wonderful on my sofa. It is as beautiful up close as it is far away. From across the room, it almost looks like the coral bush has been embroidered. It is just lovely!For me the pillow is decorative. If you are going to really use it, I would strongly urge checking to see if it could be Scotch Guarded. I cannot recommend washing this pillow cover.
