At first, we tagged the disappointment and responsibility on Amazon in my first feedback.Not so.... Both the description and the label on the package states, the width of the couch cover is 70 inches: To our disappointment, the first cover received actual width measured 64 inches. Too short!However, we bought two for each of our couches, but delivered separately. The second came in about four days later.The first cover was 6 inches too short: 64 inches, not 70 inches. Notified our good lady at Amazon, where she personally, and gracefully helped with the inconsistency of manufacturer.We asked for both covers returned: Done.The second cover arrived yesterday, and placed it off to the side, ready for our dear Blaine, our UPS driver to pick it up for return.This morning we thought... Possibly.... Did the guy at the controls while manufacturing the first batch, not measure twice, cut once?We unboxed, removed the cover from plastic case, stretched it out over our couch, and... what do you know, the fabric measured 70.5 inches.My dear Melody was happy, with quality of cover, and our German Shepherd ? has a place on our couch... again!Needless to say, thanks to my lady, with her all goodness, intuition, faith in others., stayed the course, ask asked "What if, " and figured it out.The manufacturer has an excellent product, when measured twice, cut once ?.May we all keep the faith in each other, stay to the positive to figure out the truth.By the way, the construction of the cover is excellent ?,the entire idea, non slip backing, fabric is very soft, and cut right, fights as a 70 inch couch cover to make all happy ?.Nice product but too big so this item was sent and I didn't reorder themGot this for my new sofa so my dogs don’t scratch up my new leather couch. Seems to be a good size and a little sticky back is great to keep it in place. Worth the money!With two boys and three dogs furniture covers are not optional for us. We’ve used reversible ones that washed up well, but had to put waterproof covers underneath on the couch cushions. They wouldn’t stay in place, even with straps, so when we got new living room furniture we decided to try something different. These truly stay in place, both on our leather recliner and our fabric couch. They feel durable and high quality. I could see how some might find them hot, but that hasn’t been a problem for us. They’re very soft and look nice. The negative reviews are consistent with regard to the hazard of deterioration from machine washing. So far we’ve been able to spot clean them (they appear to be waterproof, but we’ve always been right there to clean up liquids. If they sat it might be a different story. I can’t say. If they get really soiled I’ve got a second as a back up and plan to try to hand wash them in the bathtub. That said, we’re very happy with the covers.My luv seat & recliner are part leather but mostly soft velvety material. I ordered the covers in Dec 2020 & still are good, but the bottoms leave white sand-looking specks all over my luv seat & recliner, which cling to the velvety material. But it vacuums off easy with my handheld part of my Shark vacuum, & the cover itself vacuums easily. I still luv the covers. Has been protecting my still-looking brand new sofa & recliner, & my doggy loves sitting on them.When this cover is washed, the white spongy backing flakes off and it is a real pain to try to clear it even with a sticky roller.Mine ripped the first week but my grand kids are probably the reason I really don't knowEs mas de lo que pedi.
